Role Overview

As a Senior Technology Advisor, you will own and grow client relationships by delivering strategic, consultative technology guidance. You will lead complex sales cycles, translate business challenges into tailored multi-vendor solutions, and serve as a long-term advocate for your clients.

This role is ideal for a senior consultative seller who thrives in the channel, understands how to navigate vendor ecosystems, and values credibility over transactional selling.

Key Responsibilities

Client Advisory & Sales

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive and IT stakeholders, aligning technology strategies to business goals

  • Lead discovery conversations to uncover technical, operational, and financial requirements

  • Design and recommend multi-vendor solutions across areas such as connectivity, cloud, security, UCaaS, CCaaS, and managed services

  • Own the full sales lifecycle: prospecting, solution design, vendor coordination, proposal development, and close

  • Build long-term client relationships that result in repeat business and referrals

Vendor & Partner Management

  • Engage and manage relationships with leading technology providers and distributors

  • Evaluate vendor options to ensure best-fit solutions for each client

  • Coordinate pricing, contracts, and implementation handoffs

Strategic Growth

  • Manage and grow a book of business through upsell, cross-sell, and solution expansion

  • Stay current on technology trends, vendor offerings, and market shifts

  • Contribute to LumiraTech’s go-to-market strategy, best practices, and thought leadership

Qualifications

Required

  • 7+ years of experience in technology sales, consulting, or channel partner environments

  • Proven success in consultative, solution-based selling

  • Strong understanding of the technology advisor / VAR / channel ecosystem

  • Experience selling complex, multi-vendor technology solutions

  • Ability to engage credibly with C-level and senior IT leaders

  • Self-directed, entrepreneurial mindset with strong business acumen

Preferred

  • Existing book of business or referral network

  • Experience across multiple technology domains (AI, connectivity, cloud, security, UCaaS, CCaaS etc.)

  • Prior role as a Technology Advisor, Solutions Consultant, or Enterprise Account Executive

  • Familiarity with indirect sales models and vendor programs

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation:

  • Salary Range: $60,000- $150,000

  • Commission: Uncapped
